Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of the website, including practice exams, account features, shared educator exams, AI essay feedback, and plan requests.
1. Educational purpose
The Service provides independent study and practice tools. Practice scores and AI-generated essay feedback are estimates for learning, not official GED scores, test results, professional advice, or a guarantee of passing an exam. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by GED Testing Service or the GED trademark owner.
2. Accounts and access
Provide accurate account details, protect your password, and tell the Service operator if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, subject to applicable law. If you are not legally able to accept these terms on your own, obtain any permission required from a parent or guardian.
3. Acceptable use
You may use the Service for lawful learning and teaching. You must not attempt to access another person's account or private records, bypass plan restrictions, interfere with service availability, automate abusive submissions, upload malware, exploit vulnerabilities against other users, or use the Service to violate another person's rights.
Do not submit another person's personal information, copyrighted material, or confidential information unless you have the necessary permission or lawful basis.
4. Study history, local storage, and shared exams
Some progress is stored in your browser; signed-in features may sync exam history and related review details to your account. Local-only data can be lost when browser storage is cleared. On shared exams, the educator who created the exam can see submitted answers, written responses, learner names, and scores. Only enter information you are comfortable sharing with that educator.
5. AI feedback
The optional RLA extended-response checker uses an AI service to produce formative feedback. AI can make mistakes, overlook context, or give unsuitable suggestions. You should review the feedback critically. It is not an official GED assessment or a promise of any score. To monitor potentially abusive use of paid AI resources, each non-empty AI-check request is copied with its account identifier, email, task prompt, source passage, and response to the Service operator's configured email chat before grading starts. The audit record is not sent if the required email delivery fails, and that request will not be graded.
6. Paid plans and payment receipts
Plan names, features, and prices are those shown in the app at the time of a request. The current checkout is a manual payment-review process, not automatic billing. Submitting a receipt does not activate a plan or prove that payment was received. Access is changed only after the operator verifies the transfer and activates the plan.
Use only the supported payment methods shown in the app. Upload a genuine receipt image, and do not include payment passwords, one-time verification codes, or bank login credentials. Discount codes may be subject to individual-use and total-use limits; a displayed discount is not final until the server accepts the code during submission.
7. Ownership and content
You remain responsible for content you submit. You must have the rights needed to submit any educator-created questions, passages, images, or other material. You grant the Service permission to process that content solely as needed to display exams, store submissions, calculate results, and provide the features you request.
8. Availability and limitations
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may be changed, interrupted, or unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside the operator's control. To the extent allowed by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect loss arising from reliance on practice scores, AI feedback, lost local browser data, or temporary service interruptions. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Suspension and changes
Access may be limited or suspended when reasonably necessary to protect users, respond to abuse, investigate payment issues, or comply with law. Repeated or deliberate misuse of AI-check resources may result in Premium access being revoked or the account being suspended after review. These terms may change as the Service evolves. Continued use after a revised version is posted means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law; material changes should be clearly communicated.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms or a plan request should be directed to the Service operator through the official channel where you accessed the app.
